The Parkway Concert Orchestra and the Dedham Cultural Council will present a spring concert on Sunday, May 22 at 3 p.m. in St. Mary’s School Hall, 400 High Street, Dedham. To celebrate the orchestra’s 60th season, Music Director and Conductor Lawrence Isaacson has chosen a program including “An Outdoor Overture” by Aaron Copland, “Carousel” and “Jurassic Park”. The concert will feature clarinetist James Johnson, who will perform Weber’s Concertino for Clarinet and Orchestra.
This concert is dedicated to the memory of Frank Grenier. Frank was a longtime pianist with the orchestra and a former Dedham resident and member of St. Mary’s.
The program is supported in part by the Dedham Cultural Council, a local agency and Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. Donation is $10; $8 for seniors and $5 for children under 12 years. For ticket reservations, please call 781-762-0288.
