Open Rehearsals:
The Parkway Concert Orchestra will hold open rehearsals on Monday, September 13 and 20, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 100 Winter Street, Norwood. There are current openings in the orchestra for principal trombone and all strings (especially cello and string bass). Other instrumentalists are also encouraged to call to have their names included in a list of possible substitutes as needed. Music Director Matthew Fritz will conduct the 50 piece orchestra in classical and pops selections in weekly rehearsals preparing for a fall season with concerts on November 7, December 5 and 12.

Volunteer musicians who enjoy a mix of classical and pops-style music are invited to attend open rehearsals of the Parkway Concert Orchestra. Check the home page periodically for information regarding Open Rehearsals. Performance ability and dependability are the only criteria for membership.
