Meet the Parkway Concert Orchestra

The Parkway Concert Orchestra is a community musical organization based in Norwood, Massachusetts. We provide orchestral concerts featuring a mix of classical and pops music approximately six times per year. We hope you will get to know us through this site!

Hands-On Interactions

Children at our March Family Concert had the opportunity to color, as they listened to music from Elfman's Spiderman and Stravinsky's The Firebird. During an extended intermission, children and families also had the chance to meet each instrument in the orchestra. Please watch the video below to see some of the resulting artwork, and to get a sense of the "Instrument Petting Zoo" interactions between musicians and audience members. Please visit the Scrapbook section of this website to see all of the fun!

Watch and listen as Orchestra members share what it's like to perform for you in this video which was created during the COVID Pandemic!
