The Orchestra commissioned an original work by composer Koray Sazli who titled his piec “Lament for a Wooden Soldier”. The Orchestra was delighted to have Mr. Sazli in the audience for the world premier performance of this piece. | |
Daisy Joo, a brilliant 15-year old violinist, was dazzling as the soloist for Saint-Saëns’ “Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso”. | |

April 30, 2006 Parkway Brass Quintet Recital Congregational Church of Needham |

On Sunday, April 30 at 3 p.m., the Parkway Brass Quintet presented a recital as a fund-raiser for the orchestra, at the Congregational Church of Needham. The quintet was accompanied by Peter Freisinger (piano) and James Hejduk (organ and piano).
