The Parkway Concert Orchestra will present its annual Holiday Pops Concert on Sunday December 10 at 3 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 100 Winter Street, Norwood. Peter Freisinger conducts the 50 piece non-profit orchestra in classical and pops selections for the entire family, including Smetana's Polka from The Bartered Bride; A Christmas Festival; Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring; Festive Sounds of Hanukah and other holiday favorites. Special guests include songwriter/singer/musician Dan Masterson, as well as other talented members of the Masterson family. This concert is sponsored by May Funeral Home. The program is supported in part by a grant from the Norwood Cultural Council, a local agency and the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
Donation is $12; $10 for seniors and $8 for children under 12 years old. For ticket reservations please call 781-762-0288.
