A special reception to honor Bill and Muriel Porter was celebrated following the May 3, 2009 concert in Norwood. Bill and Muriel met each other through the Parkway Concert Orchestra and have continued to participate in both musical and administrative capacities for over six decades! There is a sense that the orchestra is what it is today because of this much loved and respected couple's commitment and dedication.
